Quivira’s garden was developed in 2008 and includes 120 raised beds populated with many plant varieties from Slow Food USA’s Ark of Taste list of endangered foods. Incorporated into the garden is a greenhouse that is active throughout the year.

Quivira’s Estate Manager, Jim Barausky, spearheads our garden and farm directives and is a globally respected voice in biodynamics, having served as president of North America’s Biodynamic Association.

Quivira partners with highly regarded farm-to-table restaurants to host dinners that feature produce grown on the Estate.
