Tour & Tasting Experience at Quivira
Estate Tour & Tasting
From our beehives and barrels to head-trained Zinfandel, the Estate Tour & Tasting offers Quivira guests a unique and personalized winery visit. The tour begins with a discussion of Quivira’s history and its position within Dry Creek Valley. As we move into the vineyards we’ll explore topics varying from our compost program to the Grenache varietal and the importance of vine trellis systems. Visitors will then go into our cellar an inside look at Quivira's winemaking facilities for an in-depth discussion on winemaking practices. Our Biodynamic agricultural practices are evident throughout our property but no more so than in our one-acre garden, which is where the tour moves to next. The garden is home to more than 50 chickens, 120 raised vegetable beds and one of our Biodynamic beehives. Following the tour, guests will enjoy a tasting featuring our small-lot wines. For those wanting to discuss specific topics, we’re happy to personalize the tour to your interests.
